Define the product
Start with pectin or gelatin, piece weight, shape, colors, any filling and the intended finish. Bring samples or a product brief so the recipe and mold can be considered together.
Size the whole process
Choose a mass-output target, then consider cooking, depositing, cooling and finishing together. A faster depositor alone does not increase the capacity of a slower downstream stage.
Plan space and utilities
Request a layout showing equipment, access and the product path. Confirm heating choice, connected electrical load, voltage, compressed-air pressure and flow, cooling requirements and installation access.
Agree the handover
Include commissioning, operator training, documentation, spare parts and support expectations in the project discussion. Ask for the applicable scope and written terms with the quote.
Prepare for changeovers
Discuss additional molds, cleaning, product-contact materials, wear items and the steps required to change recipes or shapes. These decisions affect the daily operation of the line.
Confirm the commercial scope
Specify included equipment, options, shipping, installation responsibilities and acceptance criteria before ordering. Evocan orders use ACH or wire, with shipping separately quoted.
